Go to the Risk segmentation tab
Once you have successfully run an analysis, you can access results on the Risk segmentation tab.
- Select the icon in the MindBridge sidebar.
You will go to the Organizations page. - Select View in line with the desired organization, or click anywhere in the organization row.
You will go to the Engagements page. - Select View in line with the desired engagement, or click anywhere in the engagement row.
You will go to the Data page. - Select View Analysis on the desired analysis.
You will go to the Analyze page. - Go to the Risk segmentation tab.
You will see the default segment as determined by your App Admin during configuration.
Tip: If you are already in an engagement, use the sidebar ( ) to open the Analyze menu (
) in the sidebar ( ) and select the name of the analysis you want to see, then go to the Risk segmentation tab.
Create a segment
Segments offer a way to look at your data from different angles, and can be created for a multitude of purposes.
Learn about the methodology behind custom segments
- Open the Actions menu near the top-right of the page.
- Select Create segment.
A pop-up window appears. - Enter a unique segment name.
- Select data fields to include in the segment via the checkboxes.
When you select a data field to include, the checkbox will move into the Selected section, and the field will be added to the bottom of the Arrange data structure section on the right.
Deselect boxes to remove fields from the segment.
Select Clear all on the right of the Arrange data structure section to remove all selected fields from the segment.
Note: "Risk score" is mandatory and cannot be removed. - Select columns to include in the segment table via the checkboxes.
Deselect boxes to remove columns from the segment table. - Open the Amount type menu in the Select columns section and use the checkboxes to add and remove columns that represent amounts. For example, some data may have two amount columns: one for monetary values and another that counts the quantity of units — someone using this dataset could create segments that include one or both of these columns, as desired.
- Arrange the data structure with the grab handles (
) or use the arrows (
/
) to move data fields around one row at a time.
- If you want to see a visual indication of risk with in the segment table, leave the Display cell visuals toggle on Yes.
To see text-only data in the table, toggle this option to No. - Select Open preview at the bottom-left of the window to see a preview of the segment table.
You can use this preview to determine the impact and scope of the segment.
Select Close preview to go back to segment creation.
You can update the segment and view previews as many times as you like before saving the segment. - When you are satisfied, Save your work.
New risk segments will appear in the View segment by menu on this dashboard.
Select Close any time to go back to the Risk segmentation dashboard without creating a new segment.
Edit a segment
TRA segments can be edited as desired.
- Open the View segment by menu above the table and select the segment you want to edit.
- Open the Actions menu near the top-right of the page.
- Select Edit.
A pop-up window appears, populated with the current segment and dashboard settings. - Adjust the segment as desired (refer to steps 3 to 9 in create a segment).
- When you are satisfied with your segment, Save it.
The segment will be available for use through the View segment by menu.
Select Close any time to go back to the Risk segmentation dashboard without applying changes.
Delete segments
You can delete risk segments as needed, including the default segment set up during configuration.
- Open the View segment by menu above the table and select the segment you want to delete.
- Open the Actions menu near the top-right of the page.
- Select Delete.
A confirmation window appears to let you know that this action cannot be undone. - Select Delete to permanently delete the segment.
Select Cancel to go back to the Risk segmentation dashboard without deleting the segment.
Use the segment table
Apply filters
Filters are based on columns mapped during configuration and the data import process, and can help you quickly sift through the data for insights.
- Open a filter menu.
- Select the criteria you want to filter for using the checkboxes and/or the calendar window (depending on the filter).
- When you are satisfied, Apply the filter to the segment table.
Select Reset filter any time to remove applied filters.
Change the segment view
Pivoting the segment view allows you to re-frame the data by segment.
- Open the View segment by menu near the top of the dashboard.
- Select a pre-configured segment (determined by your App Admin during configuration) or custom segment.
Your selection will be displayed in the table below.
Expand and collapse risk segments
See how each segment in the hierarchy is broken down.
- Select the chevron icon (
) beside the segment you want to expand.
Each row must be expanded individually. - Select the chevron icon (
) again to collapse the group.
Add and remove columns
Open the Columns menu on the right side of the table and check the box next to each column you want to display.
Uncheck a box to remove it from the table.
Sort a column
Sort columns in ascending or descending order by selecting the column header. The darker triangle indicates the sort order.
To sort multiple columns, press and hold Shift on your keyboard, then use your mouse to select the columns you want to sort.
Reorder columns
Select the desired column header and drag it left or right into its new location.

Pinning columns ensures they will stay in view when scrolling horizontally. The Segment column is pinned automatically.
Open the menu ( ) on the column header you want to pin and select Pin Column, then choose the pin location on the table: Left or Right
Select No Pin to remove a pin from a column. Once unpinned, you can reorder it as desired.

- Open the Actions menu near the top-right of the page.
- Select Export.
The current segment will be exported to your computer's default download location.
Select Cancel to stop the export and go back to the Risk segmentation dashboard.
Drill into a segment
Drilling down lets you gather more information and context around a specific entry via the data table.
Select the drill-down icon ( ) in line with the row you want to view in more detail. You will go to the Data table dashboard and the Entries view will be selected automatically.
Entry risk over time graph
Hover over a vertical bar on the graph to reveal:
- The interval of time the bar represents
- The relevant risk level(s) for entries in the segment
- The number of entries present within each risk level
High, medium, and low risk levels are displayed by default, but each risk level can be toggled off and on by selecting the risk level in the graph's legend. When toggled off, the legend item turns grey and the associated bars disappear from the graph.
Select any bar on the graph to drill-down to the data table, where you can review a detailed list of transactions or entries for the selected timeframe and risk category.
Change the time interval
By default, the graph displays the data by month.
- Open the time interval menu ("View by: ...") at the top-right of the graph.
- Select the time interval you want the graph to display:
- Month: Displays one bar for each month
